At Pamusha (meaning home), we create meaningful experiences where children can explore, create and connect.

Our African Art & Wellness program introduces children to the beauty of African culture through hands-on activities, music, movement and storytelling.

A fun, interactive journey into African culture through art, music, movement and storytelling.

African Rhythm & Dance

Children explore music through movement using shakers and percussion.

Shona-Inspired Sculpting

Inspired by Zimbabwean stone sculpture traditions.
Children create simple sculptures using soft materials.

Clay Moulding (African Pottery)

Children create small clay bowls or figures using traditional techniques.
Learning focus:
• Sensory exploration
• Patterns and textures
• Functional art

African Beading

Children design colourful bracelets while learning colour meanings.
Colour symbolism:
• Red – strength
• Blue – peace
• Green – nature
• White – unity

Canvas Painting

Children paint African-inspired artwork.
Themes include:
• Safari animals
• Landscapes
• Bold patterns

Storytelling Circle

Interactive African folktales that teach:
• Kindness
• Community
• Respect

Mini Wellness Moment

A calm and grounding session including:
• Breathing exercises
• Gentle movement
• Relaxation
